FASD Legal Rights Hub UK
provides free information, resources and collaboration opportunities
on FASD-related legal issues

Empower. Engage. Educate.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a diagnostic term describing a range of conditions caused by prenatal alcohol exposure. It results in lifelong irreversible brain and central nervous system damage often affecting memory, learning, behaviour and daily functioning. FASD is one of the most misunderstood, underdiagnosed and overlooked neurodevelopmental conditions in the UK. As a result many individuals with FASD face inequality, discrimination and injustice – often without recognition, support or an understanding of need. The hidden nature of this disability leaves many particularly vulnerable within education, employment, social care and the justice system.

FASD Legal Rights Hub UK is an information and resource platform that shares legal materials, raises awareness of FASD-related legal issues and promotes collaboration with professionals and organisations. Our mission is to promote positive change and improve the lives of those living with FASD through legal empowerment, education and collaboration.
